|Recommended: YesI've Lived Here Before and I Came Back — I first lived at Lakewood in 2014. Before I chose this place the first time, I did extensive research to find the perfect apartment to rent. I wanted a porch, washer dryer hookups, an on-site gym, etc. Lakewood checked all of the boxes. The folks here have always managed this property efficiently and pay attention to detail. The apartments are well-maintained, the area is beautiful and fairly quiet, and I feel close enough to everything else in Springfield. The rent is pretty reasonable, too. I lived here for about 2 years last time, and when I needed a new place to live in 2020 I didn't have to think about it too hard. I plan to stay here for a long time.
|Recommended: YesGood value — The layout is great with washer and dryer hookups. The rent is very fair for the space that you get. Maintenance staff comes quickly and is efficient.
|Recommended: YesWe have really enjoyed our time here — We have been very happy with the experience living here. We particularly love the amount of other dog owners on the property that we've gotten to connect with and have our dog socialized. Location is great and it's a quiet area. The unit was sparkling clean when we moved in, and Doug was very collaborative with us to list minor damages in the apartment so that we wouldn't be held responsible at the time of our move out. We have already recommended this apartment to many of our friends.

|Recommended: YesI’m very happy and love living here — My apartment is very nice in far better condition than apartments I’ve had in the past. The location is great I always feel safe. Manager Doug is great. He was very thorough during the move-in process always takes the time to stop speak when I see him on the property. He also takes the time to stop pet my dog remembers her name.😊 Maintenance is also always extremely kind helpful. The property is always clean the neighbors are friendly. I am very happy with my decision to move to Lakewood Village.
|Recommended: YesGreat for the price — I go to school at MSU, and I am happy to live 15 minutes away to have a better living space. I've compared the rent and floor plans to some others, and Lakewood is the best deal for me. Definitely comfortable with 2 people in a 1 bedroom 1bathroom. I can't imagine paying 50 more for 30 less space just to be near campus. And traffic isn't super busy in this neighborhood. Really happy with the internet too.
