|Recommended: YesLakewood Village- A Hidden Gem — My first year at Lakewood Village Apartments has been nothing but a positive experience for me. The property manager, Doug, is very friendly and informative. The maintenance staff has been quick to respond to anything I need fixed with professionalism. The amenities like the pool and gym area are always clean. The other tenants of the complex are friendly and I have yet to see or hear anything off putting. There is a walking trail behind the complex that I and many other people frequent. If you are lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor, you also have a magnificent view of the foliage surrounding the trail. Lakewood is like home.
|Recommended: YesThis is a great place. Beautiful, clean and near everything — Lakewood is a beautiful location within easy driving distance of everything in Springfield. It's staff, beginning with Manager Doug, is amazing Very helpful and super informative. The ove-in process was great and I'm looking forward to my stay here.

It is a safe community, conveniently located close where you can hop on the highway, and also close by shopping, restaurants, and walking trails. It's a great place to call home.
|Recommended: YesExcellent place to live — My apartment is in excellent shape. This is a very quiet neighborhood and all the neighbors I have met here have been very nice. Every maintenance issue that I have had since I moved in, which were few, have been addressed the same day I reported them. The staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. I am extremely happy here. One of my sons is thinking of moving to Springfield soon. He has visited me here on many occasions and between what he's seen and what I've told him, he's going to be looking into renting a place here as well.
